      Hi thanks for the question! When Marty would teach us he always have a great video or story to get us interested. For example why is it that when we (humans) walk forwards the world around us doesn’t also appear to move? To get us thinking about this he showed us a video of a chicken (you can see it here)

      The chicken keeps its head still while the body moves. This way the world doesn’t change while its walking, and it can keep an eye out for food or predators. Then the head catches back up (this is why they bob while walking).

      The fact that he always knew so much more than just the topic we were discussing and made it relevant to things we see every day inspired me to ask similar questions and keep exploring!
