Sam Parsons answered on 23 Sep 2017:

some time in my very early 20s I realised that research was the career for me. I was intrigued by mental health and eventually found my way into researching the cognitive biases related to mental health. Undergraduate psychology was a good place to get to know psychology broadly and see where my interests laid.
