I don’t think I knew I wanted to be a neuroscientist until I was doing my Masters degree in Neuroscience, before that I had done an Undergraduate degree in a broad science subject (Biomedical Science) so that I could keep my options open. I had just kept learning about things that were interesting to me and when I was doing the Masters I just found everything so interesting that I thought i’d keep going. Then I was working in London as a researcher and I read about Oxford’s high powered MRI machine. In 2012 there were only 2 in the country I think. So I knew I had to go and work with the machine for myself!
